| Lecturer profile | Kate completed her BDS at Liverpool University in 2005. She gained a membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2007.
Kate discovered her passion for Endodontics during her vocational training year and after some experience in hospital dentistry and University teaching, she gained an MSc in Endodontics (with distinction) from Manchester University in 2011.
Kate has limited her practise to endodontics for the last 10 years, where she has treated thousands of complex endodontic cases working with dentists from all over the North West region.
Kate has been involved in teaching since 2007, initially focusing on the delivery of the endodontic teaching in the undergraduate curriculum and more recently the Endodontic Doctorate programme, since its inception in 2014. She has worked as a specialty dentist in the Dental Hospital since 2014 where she collaborates closely with her colleagues in providing endodontic treatment for medically compromised patients and complex cases.
Kate divides her time between the Sandstone Dental Practice which she Co-owns and her commitments at the dental hospital and University.
