Objectives

Briefly revise and discuss:

-Handfiles,

-Modified double flare

-Multiple NiTi engine driven file systems

-Matching obturation techniques

Hands on workshop with different NiTi file systems and corresponding obturation techniques. Practical session will address instrumentation using hand files and engine driven file systems in a simulated setting. Revision of Gutta percha and sealers using obturation techniques matching the engine driven instruments used in the session.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session, you should be able to:

Diagnose common endodontic problems

Trouble shoot issues around LA & access

Discuss & demo different techniques of canal shaping /irrigation/obturation

To choose a safe effective endodontic file system

Discuss the steps required for successful endodontic outcomes
