Lisa is a retired Police Detective with over 9 years experience in investigating and supervising child and adult abuse in Lancashire. An ever-present member of local children and adult safeguarding boards Lisa was instrumental in developing multi agency protocols and training for Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults across Lancashire Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool.
Lisa was responsible for writing the first Lancashire Police Policy on the Investigation of Vulnerable Adult Abuse which was subsequently identified as good practice nationally by the Association of Chief Police Officers.
On her retirement she was awarded the Force’s first Commendation for work in Safeguarding.
Lisa has delivered Safeguarding training to both the HEE post graduate dentists and dentists foundation dentists over the past 11 years. She uses her in depth knowledge of Dental professional standards and those of the Care Quality Commission to provide bespoke safeguarding training to dental professionals. |
