Johanna graduated in 2010 from Dundee Dental School and subsequently held several posts in general practice, community dental service, Maxillofacial surgery and the Hospital Dental Service in Scotland. She completed specialist training in Restorative Dentistry at Liverpool University Dental Hospital and was appointed as a Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester in 2019. Her sub-specialist interest is in prosthodontics with particular emphasis on tooth wear and cleft lip and palate. She is a clinical supervisor on the Fixed and Removal Prosthodontic MsC program at Manchester and regularly lectures on a range of prosthodontic courses in the North of England.
