Lecturer profileMark is a Lecturer in Psychology with a focus on Dental Education at The University of Liverpool. Mark researches self-management in undergraduate education. This work focuses the role of feedback in supporting learning and development, and in particular how evidenced based goal setting approaches act as a motivator for optimal performance. The development of knowledge, skills and attitudes during learning are those that are suggested to support graduates into employment.

Mark holds a PhD in Education Psychology.

Tracy qualified as a Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist in 1993 and has maintained a clinical role since this time, working in general practice, hospital, and community settings. She also has 15 years’ experience as a Tutor Dental Therapist at the University of Liverpool Dental School.
Tracy currently works in GDS, HMP dental services and is Training Programme Manager for the Dental Therapist Foundation Programme at NHSE. She also runs refresher skills programmes for Dental Therapists and is passionate about the development of DCPs.
