Lecturer profileCraig qualified BDS in 1986 from Glasgow, and took up his current NHS consultant post at Manchester in 2002. He is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Honorary Professor in Maxillofacial Rehabilitation, Associate Dental Postgraduate Dean for Specialist Training, Director of Education for Manchester Dental Education Centre and Director of the Square Advanced Dental Care Centre. He has published over 30 refereed papers, written three books and has lectured both nationally and internationally on head and neck cancer and dental implantology. He is the clinical lead for Central Manchester in Oral Rehabilitation of Oral Oncology patients, and was one of the national assessors for the National Cancer visits in 2009. He is chair of the ISFE, and is a MRD Examiner as well as sitting on the Council of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is Director of the MSc implant programme at the University of Manchester and is a past President 2009-2010 for the British Society of Prosthodontics (BSSPD).He has won two NHS North West Innovation Awards in 2008 and 2009 and was awarded a MAHSC Chair in June 2014 in the field of Maxillofacial Rehabilitation.

Lecturer profileProfessor Siobhan Barry – Siobhan attended the Leeds Dental Institute for her Paediatric Consultant Training. She also completed a Clinical Doctorate in Paediatric Dentistry through the University of Leeds. Siobhan was appointed as a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester in October 2014. She is programme director for the MSc Paediatric Dentistry programme and academic lead for undergraduate Paediatric Dentistry. She was also the Paediatric Dentistry lead for the Greater Manchester Dental Trauma Managed Clinical Network. She lectures and teaches national and internationally.

James graduated in 2004 from the University of Manchester. He worked in General Dental Practice for 6 years before entering specialist training in 2010. He now works part time as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and part time in both generalist and specialist practice. James is the clinical lead for the Emergency Dental Centre at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester. His interests lie in endodontic treatment, acute management of trauma and rehabilitation of patients following dental trauma.
