Lecturer profileOriginally trained as a Registed Mental Health Nurse and registered with the Nuring Midwifery Council. Following qualification emigrated to Australia and for 10 years worked in Adult Mental Health Services including Community Mental Health ,Crisis & Early Intevention and Substance Misuse Services.

On return from Australia undertook training as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist in Liverpool and registered with the UKCP Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis College. Over the past 20 years have worked in the UK, both in children’s and adult mental health services in Management roles and as a therapist providing therapy, consultation, supervision and training.

Also works privately offering clinical supervision and training. Training topics vary eg Veteran Awareness & Mental Health, Substance Misuse and Veterans etc., More recently provided training around trauma informed practice.
