The event offers a valuable opportunity for learning, networking, and sharing innovation in paediatric oral health. Delegates are also warmly invited to submit abstracts for consideration in our poster prize competition.

Aims
  • Provide an overview of the management of dental trauma in paediatric patients and discuss emerging local care pathways.
  • Explore common and rare dental anomalies in paediatric patients and outline effective management strategies.
Objectives
  • Outline the management of traumatic dental injuries affecting the permanent dentition.
  • Describe the presentation and dental management of uncommon bone conditions that impact the teeth.
  • Improve understanding of social, clinical, and systemic contributors to health inequalities in children and young people with disabilities, and emphasise the dental team's role in advocacy and inclusive care.
Learning outcomes
  • Recognise and appropriately manage traumatic dental injuries in the permanent dentition.
  • Identify key paediatric dental anomalies and apply relevant diagnostic and management approaches.
  • Consider practical strategies for the dental team to help reduce health inequities through education, advocacy, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
