The aim of the presentation is to explain the term hypnosis and how it can be used effectively in dentistry.

Objectives
  • Define what hypnosis is
  • Explain and demonstrate the power of words
  • Describe how hypnosis can be used in dentistry
  • Describe techniques which can be used when treating children
Learning outcomes

Following the session participants will understand the basics of hypnosis and how if can be used when treating paediatric patients.
