  • To highlight some common ethical dilemmas and the dento-legal principles which underpin decision making and management.
  • To develop skills, behaviours and attitudes which maintain patient confidence in the dental profession and put patients’ interests first.

  • Critical evaluation of scenarios arising in dental practice.
  • Identification of potential dento legal issues.
  • Application of professional standards to manage each scenario in an appropriate and ethical way.
