Lecturer profile | Dr Ali qualified from QMUL in 2006. He has since completed his MJDF with the RCS and his MFDS with the RCPSG. He was awarded the Honorary FDS lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. He has completed the PGCert in Dental Education and PGCert in Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring. Ali has been appointed as a Dental Practice Advisor with NHS England.
Dr Ali teaches dentists of all experiences from dental foundation training, department of workforce development, British Dental Association, and various private academies. He teaches a variety of topics from clinical to non-clinical with a focus on communication skills. Dr Ali has a variety of roles including a Clinical Advisor to NHS England and the GDC, Clinical Expert Witness for the GDC, Educational Supervisor for Dental Foundation Training, a national and an international lecturer and most importantly of all a GDP.
The combination of all these roles provides Dr Ali with a holistic overview of dentistry as he not only practices under the NHS teaches on the subjects and is involved in the regulatory aspects as well, including complaints reviews and sits as a member of the Performance Advisory Group for NHS England. Dr Ali believes the single most important aspect for working successfully and effectively is to master communication skills and this is his true passion, after completing training in Coaching, NLP and hypnosis, he regularly teaches communications skills nationally and internationally. |
