| Lecturer profile | Richard Tucker, GDC 66850 qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1991. He then came to England and worked in private practice in Kent for 6 years. His first contact with the Eastman was through the Certificate Course in Restorative Dentistry in 1996, which led to him undertaking 3 years of specialist training at the Eastman Dental Institute.  In 2003, he started a specialist referral practice in Wimpole Street, London, limited to periodontics and the surgical aspects of implant dentistry.  Richard is a good communicator and enthuses about treating patients using evidence-based clinical expertise in a kind and empathetic manner.
