Learning outcomes | Following this course learners should be able to :- 1 Evaluate the periodontal tissues and accurately diagnose periodontal diseases. 2 Treatment plan periodontal care and provide non-surgical therapy. 3 Evaluate the results of periodontal treatment so as to establish and monitor suitable interim care management programmes for patients. 4 Act on the basis of complexity assessment so as to refer patients appropriately for specialist care. 5 Describe the role of dental care professionals in periodontal therapy and work with them in managing patients with periodontal disease. |
