Lecturer profileSandip Popat qualified from University College Hospital in 1991. He was awarded a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and undertook specialist training in prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, dentures and implants) at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. He went on to gain his membership in Restorative Dentistry and is now a Consultant at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Sandip is currently the restorative lead for the Spires Cleft Lip and Palate Centre, and is also part of the multi-disciplinary head and neck cancer team. His other interests include the oral rehabilitation of patients with severe hypodontia and toothwear. Sandip also runs a busy specialist referral private practice. He has lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally. He is also a post-graduate examiner for the RCS
