Lecturer profileDr Trivedy is an Honorary Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Warwick Medical School. He is both dentally and medically qualified and has worked as a dentist in general practice and also in hospital based dentistry. He obtained his fellowship in dental surgery in 1996 and has since completed a PhD in oral oncology and also his medical degree. He now works as a front line emergency physician with an academic interest. He has a specific interest in medical emergencies and safeguarding patients and teaches on these topics internationally. He has over 20 peer reviewed publications and has authored two text books on emergency medicine. He is one of the trustees of the Oral Health Foundation and the lead clinician at the Kia Oval cricket ground. He has also founded two voluntary non-profit organisations. Boundaries for Life provides free health checks including mouth checks at international cricket stadia across the UK and the the second (The Tulsi Foundation) works with emergency trauma training of forest guards in tiger reserves in India.
