Having joined the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2006, Latha is now Clinical Director with responsibility for the management of the Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine Units on the Dental Hygiene and Therapy programme, among her many roles. She is also an Honorary Lecturer for King’s College London Dental Institute, an examiner for the LDS RCS (Eng) examinations, and an external speaker and trainer for Health Education England, working across Thames Valley and Wessex, Dental School. In addition to her undergraduate and postgraduate teaching roles, Latha and her husband own a dental practice in Eastleigh, Hampshire where Latha practices all aspects of dentistry with particular interests in surgical dentistry, sedation and implants.
