The webinar is presented by Huw Winstone - Senior Dental Clinical Advisor NHS England SE Region

Huw trained at Kings College Hospital and subsequently had associate positions in dental practices in Sevenoaks and Swanley prior to taking over a practice in North West Kent in 1985 with his wife who is also a dentist.

In addition to working at the practice, Huw worked for over twenty-five years in postgraduate dental education, originally running the Canterbury dental foundation training scheme and subsequently also holding the role of Associate Dean for Health Education England covering the Kent, Surrey and Sussex area and latterly also London. Huw was also involved in supporting overseas dentists joining NHS practice in the same area.

Since 1996 Huw has also been a dental clinical adviser for the NHS. He still holds this role and is currently senior dental clinical adviser for NHS England South East region.

Huw has been a member of the Kent Local Dental Committee since 1988, being treasurer for over twenty years and he is also a non-executive director of Dentists’ Provident.
