DescriptionThis full day course will include: Antimicrobial prescribing and stewardship, record keeping, Health & Safety, the role of guidelines and managing the risk of CQC and GDC conflicts.

Registration is 09.00 with the educational programme starting at 09.30.  Lunch and refreshments are provided throughout the day (incl. in course fee) course finishes at 16.30.

Aims

To increase learners’ ability to develop strategies to manage risks related to prescribing and stewardship.  Record keeping. Health & Safety guidelines, managing the risk of CQC and GDC conflicts.

Objectives

1. Examine good antibiotic stewardship and appropriate uses in dentistry.

2. Review sensible record keeping and how to dispel some urban myths.

3. Discuss how to avoid close encounters with regulators.
