DescriptionA short lunchtime lecture that describes steps in decontamination, with specific reference to measures needed during the COVID pandemic. Sandra Smith is an engaging and highly knowledgeable speaker. She originally qualified as a dental nurse, and has an Honours BSc Degree in Health Protection. Sandra has been working in the Infection Control industry since 2004. She has worked for a number of NHS Trusts and for HEE London. Sandra is experienced in helping organisations develop quality infection control systems and processes to provide effective assurance about good practice. She also has extensive experience in auditing and delivering infection control training to a wide variety of audiences.

Please read the attached HEE learning protocol. The link will be sent by 09:00 on 04/02/21. The lecture will start promptly at 13:00, please log in early and check that your microphone is off but your camera is on (you can upload a background of your choice for privacy). Please set your user name to that of your HEE Maxcourse account or it may not be possible to confirm your attendance. If you are unable to use your camera, please respond to a random chat message from the tutor which will be used to verify your attendance.  Because this is a very short course it will not be possible to take questions during the session, but you may wish to book onto Sandra's longer course on 25/02/21 instead.
