Lecturer profileMarina qualified in 1984 as a Dental Hygienist from the Royal Air Force Institute of Dental Health and Training. She has wide experience both within general dental practice and the educational setting. Alongside her professional education, Marina has studied and graduated in the fields of the social sciences, law, and has a PhD for a programme of research which explored stress and well-being in the Dental Hygienist and Therapist undergraduate environment. As well as her professional roles as clinician and tutor, Marina is also a Local Advisor with Dental Protection; she represents the UK on the P&G Dental Hygienist Global Advisory Board and Global Schools Board; and is a Past President of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
