Lecturer profileDr Nehal Doshi is an experienced general dental practitioner and mentor. She qualified from Queen Mary University of London in 2017 with Honours and distinctions in all 5 years. During her time there, she was also awarded many academic accolades and nominated to represent QMUL at the prestigious University of London Gold Medal.

Dr Nehal carried out her foundation training in Berkshire and subsequently, a DCT post in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Working in practice for years, she has continued to build her skills and knowledge. She has completed a PgCert in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry & PgCert in Dental Education. As an educational supervisor in the Thames Valley and Wessex Deanery, she leads study days for Foundation Dentists and is involved in training the next generation of dental practitioners.

Beyond the clinic, Dr Nehal mentors aspiring dental and dental hygiene therapy students nationally and internationally to secure a place at university and hosts a podcast with her sister, Dr Tejal Doshi, called ‘Roots and Resilience’, a celebration of inspiring stories from people in and outside the profession.
