Lecturer profile | Melanie Holloway has worked within the Diversity and Inclusion space since 2018. Prior to this role, Melanie was the Lead for EDI for a large social housing organisation, responsible for writing and implementing the EDI strategy. Having been with HEE for 3 years as part of the National Diversity, Inclusion and Participation Team and now with NHSE for the past year, Melanie's areas of expertise is LGBTQIA+ Inclusion and Staff Networks, and has led the Menopause Working Group. Melanie Holloway also runs her own company - Inclusion Solutions. Melanie has a real passion for diversity and inclusion, "it's a driving force, my motivation, the fire in my belly. I understand the needs of the diverse communities in which we work and serve, not just from my Diversity and Inclusion work but from a 20 year career in social care. I'm committed and passionate about the principles of equity and understand that it will ultimately assist any organisation to achieve its goals. I understand the importance and value of developing a culture where all colleagues can be their authentic selves at work, where differences are celebrated and sought out, where there is a sense of belonging.
