| Lecturer profile | Rebecca Silver is a multi-award winning dental nurse with over 14 years of experience in the dental industry.
During her time she has worked in both NHS and private practice, as well as with numerous specialties; endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, sedation, orthodontics, prosthodontics and with implant dentists. Focusing on her dental nursing career, she has continued to excel in academia and has obtained post registration certificates in Oral Health Education and Dental Nursing Sedation. Rebecca also has a foundation degree in Advance Dental Nursing and a masters degree in Advanced and Specialist Healthcare (Applied to Dental Practice).
She is a sedation and fluoride tutor, having gained her level 3 award in Education and Training and is on the editorial board of the Dental Nursing Journal and on the reader panel of The British Dental Journal Team journal. She has had articles published in other dental media and is always striving to help new dental nurses get their foot into publishing.
Rebecca has spoken at dental shows in both Birmingham and London, and this year will also be speaking in Bristol and She has also spoken on behalf of NHS England. |
