Lecturer profileSinclair qualified with honours from Bart’s & The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2006 and completed his Vocational Training with the Wessex scheme, winning the Richard Goram case presentation prize. He went on to work in NHS & private general dental practice in the South East of England for many years.

Sinclair completed a Certificate in Learning and Teaching and has achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy accreditation. He has completed a Certificate in Restorative dentistry (2010), PG Certificate in Dental Law and Ethics (2018) and an MSc with distinction in Endodontics (2021), along side a wide variety of CPD.

Sinclair is a Clinical Senior Lecturer teaching adult restorative dentistry and is the Co-Director for Undergraduate Dental Education at QMUL. He has a special interest in endodontics, and treats Tier 2 & 3 complexity endodontic patient referrals for Bart’s Health NHS Trust. Sinclair is also a core examiner for the Royal College of Surgeon’s LDS examinations and teaches DFT’s.

In his spare time, Sinclair likes to spend time with his young family and is also teaching his son and daughter how to swim.
