Lecturer profile | Dr Ali qualified from QMUL in 2006. He has since completed his MJDF with the RCS and his MFDS with the RCPSG. He was awarded the Honorary FDS lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. He has completed the PGCert in Dental Education and PGCert in Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring. Ali has been appointed as a Dental Practice Advisor with NHS England.
Dr Ali teaches dentists of all experiences from dental foundation training, department of workforce development, British Dental Association, and various private academies. He teaches a variety of topics from clinical to non-clinical with a focus on communication skills. Dr Ali has a variety of roles including a Clinical Advisor to NHS England and the GDC, Clinical Expert Witness for the GDC, Educational Supervisor for Dental Foundation Training, a national and an international lecturer and most importantly of all a GDP.
The combination of all these roles provides Dr Ali with a holistic overview of dentistry as he not only practices under the NHS teaches on the subjects and is involved in the regulatory aspects as well, including complaints reviews and sits as a member of the Performance Advisory Group for NHS England. Dr Ali believes the single most important aspect for working successfully and effectively is to master communication skills and this is his true passion, after completing training in Coaching, NLP and hypnosis, he regularly teaches communications skills nationally and internationally. |

Lecturer profile | Dr Vaghela qualified as a dental surgeon in 2007 from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute in London. He completed his vocational training in 2008 in the Barnet scheme after gaining a place in the competitive London Deanery.
In 2009, Dr Vaghela went on to complete his postgraduate examinations and gain The Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He has also gained the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
Dr Vaghela has completed his 1 year certificate course in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry with Advanced Dental Seminars in 2010. He has attended a number of lectures and courses to continue to improve his skills and knowledge so he can offer his patients the highest quality of dental care. He continues his passion for minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and is an associate member with the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists. Dr Vaghela can offer his patients a range of cosmetic treatments ranging from simple whitening to clear 'invisible' braces.
Being a strong believer in post-graduate education, Dr Vaghela has gained his Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education from the University of Bedfordshire in. Through this he has also attained a Fellowship to the Higher Education Academy in 2011. He is currently a Dental Foundation Trainee (DFT) Trainer with the Essex Coast Scheme, Health Education East of England. Dr Vaghela continues to lecture postgraduate students and Dental Foundation Trainees with the throughout the country on topics such as Clinical Photography, NHS Regulations, Hands-On Crown Preparation, Hands On composite filling and revision tips for postgraduate examinations. He is dedicated to provision of high quality dental care through training and development. Dr Vaghela is completed a postgraduate Masters degree in Restorative Dental Practice at The UCL Eastman Dental Hospital. He has built a strong patient list through his friendly and caring nature. He understands that patients may have fears and anxieties and truly believes that patients come first. |
