DescriptionThis one-day course will cover the fundamental aspects of inlays, onlays and crowns and will help participants to use the most appropriate techniques and materials to produce consistent results. The format of the day will be part seminar/hands-on.

Fundamentals of design
Materials selection
Tooth preparation
Tissue management
Impression recording
Use of temporary materials
Cementation techniques
Occlusal principles

The practical session will take place in the phantom-head room in the afternoon. There will be step-by-step demonstrations and participants will have a chance to try out various techniques/materials.

Overall, the day is designed to be practical, packed with interesting slides and clinical cases and is intended to help practitioners treating private or national health patients who wish to offer cost effective indirect restorations that are long lasting and highly aesthetic.
