DescriptionThis course is designed to give a complete overview of the process of digital photography in dentistry. This is a “hands-on” course for dentists, to be accompanied by their dental nurse, thus training the team in the techniques to be learned. The course also includes advice on purchasing equipment. This course is designed for GDPs and dental nurses to work in pairs - as such the GDP and dental nurse must be booked onto the course at the same time.

Aims
  1. To give an overview of the equipment and techniques needed to produce good intra and extra-oral photographs of patients, and the photography of radiographs. Management of images and back-up will also be discussed
  2. Participants will be able to make informed decisions on choice of equipment and its use in dentistry.
  3. Participants will gain an understanding of the settings and techniques necessary to produce good quality photographs
  4. Participants will understand back-up and its implementation.
