DescriptionAn initial presentation on indications and techniques for pre-restorative surgery is followed by a practical session on pigs jaws, incorporating the surgical techniques learnt and practiced on Module 5. This is followed by an extensive presentation of treated human cases. The afternoon session is devoted to periodontal plastic surgery, combining the theory and practice (again on the pigs jaw) of grafting techniques, including free gingival grafts and connective tissue grafts.
Additional informationGraham and Phil supply pigs jaws (one per participant but with spares available) but not surgical equipment, which must be brought by each participant. Handouts will be supplied..
