DescriptionTHIS COURSE IS LIMITED TO 10 DENTISTS PLUS THEIR DENTAL NURSE This course is designed to update you and your nurse on the latest techniques and treatments for dealing with endodontic disease. This will include irrigation, medication and practical techniques using a combination of hand and Pro Taper rotary instruments for cleaning and shaping root canal systems. The aim is to maximise the mutual skills of both dentist and nurse by showing you how to work together to improve the flow of the treatment, boost your confidence and increase your enjoyment of treating endodontic cases. Obturation techniques, producing predictable results, will be demonstrated and practised. Treatment using a microscope will be demonstrated and digital radiographs will be taken.
Additional informationFor part of the course the group will split and the nurses will have an update on sterilisation and management of the endodontic instruments. The nurse will be involved closely in all stages of the endodontic treatment both on a practical and theoretical level.

At the end of the course each dentist and their nurse should have prepared and obturated at least 2 plastic blocks and a tooth.
