| Description | Adult basic life support includes CPR, management of choking, use of the pocket mask and bag valve mask and supplementary oxygen and scenario training. We also look at the contents of the emergency drug box and discuss causes and prevention of cardiac arrest including the ABCDE approach to assessment of a sick patient and common medical emergencies. |
| Additional information | Our team of training staff include resuscitation officers and exprienced clinical nurses all working within the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust, so all students will benefit from their clinical and educational backgrounds. |
