  1. To understand the principles of ionising radiation and how this affects dental radiography.
  2. To understand the radiographic process and best practice in dental radiography.
  3. To be able to identify common faults in radiographic technique and processing.
  4. To have practical experience in the use of dental radiographic equipment and beam aiming devices.
