SubjectOral Surgery
DescriptionInteractive evidence-based modular training for GDPs & dentists with a special interest in Minor Oral Surgery. This is an opportunity for dentists to learn and practise the principles and techniques of minor oral surgery procedures, and is designed for the busy practitioner. Four modules cover the main aspects of dentoalveolar surgery performed in daily practice, including 3 days of intensive hands on training on sheep heads. Day 1 is an interactive theory session with case discussions and can be booked as a standalone day. This Day 1 course will be delivered as a Zoom webinar: two 1.5 hour sessions, with a 20 minute break circa 10.30. An email with joining instructions will be sent at 08:00. Please ensure that your microphones are switched off when you first join, although questions are warmly encouraged. Small group hands-on training days will be available in the Autumn for further learning and development: days 2,3 & 4 will be a mixture of lectures and hands on practice.
