Specialist Periodontist Hatem Algraffee qualified as a dentist from the Royal London Hospital in 1996. In 2004 he completed four-year specialist training at Guys Hospital/Kings College achieving two Master degrees. Since 2004 Hatem has been involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and has over 15 years teaching experience at all levels. He is passionate and dedicated to teaching and this is reflected in the amount of time committed to mentoring colleagues both during and after completing PerioAcademy courses. Hatem combines his week working in private practice and also teaching and mentoring colleagues.

To discuss how to diagnose different presentations of periodontal disease and determine risk factors

To discuss periodontal cases based on history, Investigations, diagnosis and prognosis

To discuss prognosis of teeth and treatment plan several cases provided

To outline referral protocols for patients with periodontitis
