Aims: Provide an overview of the interface between oral surgery & ENT regarding the management of odontogenic and non odontogenic pathology

Objectives

Objectives:

· Review sinus anatomy of relevance to the oral surgeon

· Outline common sinus pathology that may be encountered by oral surgeons and it’s management

· Discuss the management of OAC/OAF from an oral surgery/ENT perspective

· Discuss the management of more complex sinus pathology of relevance to oral surgery

· Discuss the role of functional endoscopic sinus surgery in the treatment of sinus pathology relevant to oral surgery

On completion of the session, trainees will gain increased knowledge and confidence in the understanding of sinus pathology and its management.
