1 To protect adults and children at risk of abuse or neglect.

2 To explain the principles of adult safeguarding and who is venerable.

3 To explain safeguarding and protection as it applies to children and young adults.

To discuss different types of abuse and neglect and the signs that they are happening, as well as data protection issues relating to information sharing for safeguarding.
