Description | This short webinar looks at the signs and symptoms of Menopause and how it can affect you in the workplace. Ahead of Octobers 'Menopause Awareness Month' we aim to bust some of the myths around Menopause. Raising awareness may be beneficial for staff and patients alike. Additional information | Melanie Holloway has worked within the Diversity and Inclusion space since 2018. Prior to this role, Melanie was the Lead for EDI for a large social housing organisation, responsible for writing and implementing the EDI strategy. Having been with HEE for 3 years as part of the National Diversity, Inclusion and Participation Team and now with NHSE, Melanie's areas of expertise is LGBTQIA+ Inclusion and Staff Networks, and has led the Menopause Working Group. Melanie has a real passion for diversity and inclusion, "it's a driving force, my motivation, the fire in my belly. I understand the needs of the diverse communities in which we work and serve, not just from my Diversity and Inclusion work but from a 20 year career in social care. I'm committed and passionate about the principles of equity and understand that it will ultimately assist any organisation to achieve its goals. I understand the importance and value of developing a culture where all colleagues can be their authentic selves at work, where differences are celebrated and sought out, where there is a sense of belonging.
