DescriptionPart 2 Dental Radiology - The course is part of the BDA requirement to attend 12.5 hours of formal study related to Radiation Protection and Radiology once within a 5 year cycle - as indicated in the BDA/NRPB Guidance Notes.This course fulfils Part 2 of the requirements for 'adequate training' specified in the guidelines (The IR(ME)R Part 1 course fulfils the Radiation Protection part of this requirement)The course is generally for GDPs who have attended the Part 1 course previously. We would suggest the course is only relevant to practice managers, hygienists and dental nurses who have a certificate in dental radiography, and/or an administrative role (e.g. As an RPS, or on QA), and who have attended a previous Part 1 course.
