Aims
  1. Morning - Portfolio session: Understanding of the personal development planning (PDP) process - why they are important and the benefits of having a PDP. Knowledge of how to create your own PDP including identification of learning needs through the use of significant event analysis and refelctive logs.
  2. Knowledge of goal setting Knowledge of how to review your PDP
  3. Outline of general principles of UK employment and contract law. Understanding pitfalls that may be encountered and how to minimise these risks.
  4. Understanding for the need for formal contracts of employment and relevance to communication with the practice team. Knowledge of when and where to obtain specialist advice.
