DescriptionThis evening is entirely devoted to Dental Nurses and Student Dental Nurses. These monthly meetings have been set up for Dental Nurses in the south region (Ox/Bucks/Berks/Hamps/I.O.W) to aid networking, sharing ideas through open discussion, support wellbeing and empower Dental Nurses to progress and further their career if they wish to do so. This will be delivered via MS Teams Webinar. There will be an hour's CPD, following this will be an open forum and peer review discussion chaired by our guest speaker Dr Debbie Reed and the facilitating Tutor. GDC Outcome B. Between January 2023 and March 2023 over 3500 Dental Nurses responded to the comprehensive ‘Dental Nurse Retention Survey’. The Dental Nurse Retention Report 2023 (freely available on ResearchGate) was published last Autumn. The report has been acknowledged by the Office of Chief Dental Officer, the General Dental Council, and the College of General Dentistry. Today Dr Debbie Reed will share some of the key findings and discuss 'next steps' for data gathering about the DN workforce.
