· Take 2nd left into Public Pay-and-Display Car Park (£1 or £2 Coins only) or 3rd right into Pay-on-Foot Car Park*.

* the payment machine for the Pay-on-Foot car park is located inside the Maternity building

BY RAIL

· From London (Paddington) and from Reading, alight at Slough.

· There is a Taxi Rank on the station forecourt at Slough.

BY BUS

· Scheduled bus services run from Slough Bus Station (opposite Slough Railway Station)

· Buses run approximately every 15/20 minutes (Bus Numbers 1 and 3).

· All buses stop outside the main entrance of the hospital.

· Staff at main reception desk will be happy to guide you to the Postgraduate Centre.

· Heathrow International Airport is located just a few miles away and there are always taxis available.

1 To provide training in the theory and practice for effective nursing in minor oral surgery for dental nurses, including care planning and surgical set-up.

2 To discuss the rationale behind pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing oral surgical procedures.

3 To discuss basic understanding of oral anatomy and get  familiar with surgical instruments and its purpose in order to play an integral role in the surgical procedure.
