| Aims | To update members of the dental teams that work in Thames Valley and Wessex on the new GDC requirements for Enhanced Continuing Professional Development and find out how Health Education England can provide relevant training. |
| Objectives | • Highlight the appraisal scheme available to GDPs and its part in helping individuals to make a Personal Development Plan (PDP). • Provide details of the new General Dental Council guidance for Enhanced Continuing Professional Development including the plan, do, reflect, record model and the requirement for an individual Personal Development Plan based on current field of practice • Explore how to incorporate reflective practice and its relevance to learning • Participate in a workshop to explore individual learning needs and develop a Personal Development Plan. |
