| Aims | The aim of this course is to develop the learners' ability to assess and treat endodontic disease. |
| Objectives | 1. To explain the microbiological aetiology and causes of endodontic disease 2. To provide theoretical and practical training on how to design the access cavity and root canal anatomy with confidence 3. To provide training in the preparation from the crown to the apex (crown-down technique) including using balanced force 4. To provide training in hand and rotary preparation including using variable taper NiTi hand and rotary instruments and system B obturation |

Design the access cavity and navigate the root canal system with confidence 3. Undertake root canal preparation with hand and rotary variable taper NiTi instruments 4.
