[Module 3 - CPR; Medical Emergencies; Common Dental Emergencies can be studied in the morning (N.B. participants to module 3 must bring with them a current certificate of CPR training).

  1. Understand the term 'Life Long Learning' and its relevance to working situations and the GDC commitment to it; recognise its place as well as that of Personal Development Plans and Practice Development Plans on the career pathway.
  2. Understand reflective practice and how this can help individuals to achive their potential and goals; be familiar with and understand the term 'Continuing Professional Development' (CPD).
  3. Know how to evaluate one's own values and practices. Assess one's own strengths and weaknesses, and how to use knowledge and ideas to improve one's current and future practice.
  4. Know how to build and maintain a Portfolio of Evidence of one's own learning activities.
