| Description | This evening is entirely devoted to Dental Nurses and Student Dental Nurses. These monthly meetings have been set up for Dental Nurses in the south region (Ox/Bucks/Berks/Hamps/I.O.W) to give Dental Nurses an ability to network and share ideas through open discussion, support their wellbeing plus be empowered to progress and further their career if they wish to do so. This will be delivered via Webinar. There will be an hour's CPD in which our speaker Jo Russell will talk about Communication Skills and Emotional Intelligence. The dictionary describes Emotional Intelligence - "The capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. Emotional intelligence is the key to both personal and professional success". GDC outcomes A & B. Following this will be an open forum and peer review discussion chaired by our guest speaker and the Tutor facilitating. | ||
| Additional information | Jo Russell RDN Cert DPM Cert Ed MIfL LCGI Tech, IOSH, GDC 109492 - Director Oracle Practice Business Solutions, has worked in dentistry since 1986, including 7 years in the Royal Naval Dental Service, 2 years as an Area Manager for a large corporate looking after 16 practices across London and the South, and as a tutor, assessor and internal verifier for dental nurses undertaking formal qualification. Latterly she has spent much of her time delivering the level 4 Diploma in Dental Practice Management and business consultancy services for CQC compliance.
