AvailabilityCourse has taken place
SubjectOther
DescriptionThis course explores the holistic management of elderly dental patients, particularly those who are home-bound, frail or have chronic age-related diseases. In many instances the complexity of care may not lie with clinical dentistry, but rather with the problems of facilitating access to treatment for those hard- to- reach patients, or of communicating with people who have disabilities or sensory impairments. All members of the dental team are welcome on this course. ***This course is particularly appropriate for those studying for the diploma in special care dentistry or with an interest in special care dentistry.
