DescriptionThis course will cover all aspects of patients with mental health disorders including legal aspects of capacity and consent. It will also cover drug interactions related to dentistry with helpful treatment strategies to cope with all of the above.
Additional informationThis course is aimed at the entire dental team but is especially for those with an interest in special care dentistry or those studying for the diploma in special care dentistry. If participants are staying on for the Management of Violence and Aggression course in the afternoon (which is a stand-alone course in its own right but links very well to the morning course), lunch will be provided.
