Mandatory: Dental Core Trainee

The workshop will introduce the audience to the fact that some trainees will struggle and may require additional support during their training. It will explore possible reasons for experiencing difficulties; how these may manifest themselves; and what support can be offered during these times by the Professional Support Unit and others. The workshop will also highlight the trainees’ own responsibility for preventing difficulties wherever possible and for seeking appropriate help when problems occur.

Raising awareness of the fact that some dentists in training will experience problems during their training and reducing the stigma of seeking help
