Arun Majumdar is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Milton Keynes University Hospital and Luton & Dunstable University Hospital. Since his appointment in 2004 Arun has been actively involved in teaching and organising regional study days and training courses for DF1s and DF2s, GDPs and General Practitioners both in Oxford Deanery and East of England Deanery. He also teaches on ATLS courses and is a surgical trainer for speciality trainees in maxillofacial surgery. He is an examiner for the FGDP for the Certificate in Minor Oral Surgery. |

Aims | This short talk will focus on refreshing delegates with: Relevance of knowledge of drugs in dental patients with complex medical histories.
This webinar will also seek to refresh delegates on the key aspects of prescribing and patient advice. |
Objectives | Management of patients on novel anticoagulants and disease modifying drugs. |
Learning outcomes | Attendees will have a better understanding of which drugs to prescribe to which patients, depending on their medical history. Attendees will gain more knowledge on any changes in dental prescribing. Understand where to go for further information/medication related queries in the future. |
