DescriptionStaff who work with children and/or adults should receive appropriate safeguarding training every 3 years as a minimum. This course is designed to meet statutory safeguarding training requirements as well as promoting dementia awareness and the special knowledge, approach and skills required of the dental team when supporting people with dementia.

*This webinar is suitable for entire dental team, will be delivered via Zoom and an email with joining instructions and a short a guide to remote learning will be sent to you at least 24 hours before the course starts. Please log in early to check your IT supports Zoom and check that your microphone is off but your camera is on (you can upload a background of your choice for privacy) signing in using your Deanery registered name helps us to confirm your attendance. Logging onto to Webinar will be from 09:00. There will be breaks during the day with a lunch break mid day. Please email the organising Tutor if you have any questions prior to the webinar at amanda.evans@hee.nhs.uk  (07917 580686). There will be an opportunity to ask questions/interact with the speaker on the day. The programme will start promptly at 09:15 finishing by 16:00.
