DescriptionThe course concentrates on basic surgical skills which will be encountered in GDP. It has a mixture of formal presentation and hands on experience. The morning session covers the subjects including assessment and management of fractured teeth and roots, assessment of wisdom teeth together with surgical procedures used for their removal. There will be practical sessions to develop skills in the techniques discussed. The afternoon session will cover surgical endodontics and the management of soft tissue surgery. Practical sessions will also enhance the skill levels in these techniques.There will be ample opportunity for discussion with particular reference to any problems encountered in practice.
